At Hanin Dental, our dentists offer a variety of dental services with sedation, to help you feel more at ease during your dental appointments.
Sedation will allow you to relax before and during dental procedures, making it easier for you to get dental care when you need it. And the result? Better oral health!
What is Sedation Dentistry?
Dental sedation is use sedative medications to help patients relax before, during and after dental procedures. We often recommend sedation for patients who feel especially anxious about dental procedures, or who have extensive treatment needs, time constraints, and/or a severe gag reflex.
Sedation Options at Hanin Dental
Oral Medication
Oral sedatives come in the form of liquid and pills that you can administer yourself the night before your appointment to help you sleep, and up to one hour before your appointment to reduce anxiety leading up to and throughout the treatment.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) is an inhaled gas that is administered in our office at the start of your procedure. It functions to relax patients and relieve their feelings of anxiety. Since each person is different, the gas levels can easily be adjusted to your needs during your appointment.
Is Sedation Right For You?
It's important to us that you feel comfortable during your dental appointment, as that means you'll be able to get the dental care you need.
